2. The question that calls for consideration is whether in whose name, the property tax must be levied. Admittedly, the suits filed by the petitioner as well as the second respondent had suffered dismissal. The petitioner has filed A.S.No.32 of 2015 on the file of the Sub Court, Theni. The local body shall abide by the outcome of the civil proceedings. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. The statuts quo earlier granted is made absolute and it will abide by the outcome of the first appeal. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
