Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pay the petitioner Rs. 8,46,512/- towards Gratuity, Rs. 8,53,950/- towards EPF Employees Contributions Rs. 5,51,373/- towards Leave Salary, Rs. 50,000/- towards Social Security Scheme benefit and also arrears of wages for the period from 01.09.13 to 31.03.15 payable pursuant to new wage settlement dated 13.04.15, together with 18% interest per annum and further directing the respondents to pay him Rs. 3,20,341/- towards the Pension , Commutation amount together with 18% interest per annum within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. Alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD). No.14626 of 2016, dated 23.08.2016, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing counsels appearing for the respondents would submit that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.14626 of 2016, dated 23.08.2016, has been complied with.

3. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out the remedy, in the manner known to law. Consequently, the connected Sub Application is also closed.
