Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.3,13,080/- towards Gratuity and Rs.43,260/- towards Leave Salary together with 18% interest per annum within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. Alleging disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.(MD). No.14859 of 2016, dated 12.08.2016, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.14859 of 2016, dated 12.08.2016, has been complied with. However, some of the amount was not paid to the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out the remedy, in the manner known to law.
