This Petition is filed to condone the delay of 60 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials placed before this Court. Though notice was served, none appeared for the respondents either in person or through counsel.

3. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the insurance company has already deposited 50% of the award amount. For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of the Petition and on being satisfied with the same, this Petition is allowed and the delay is condoned.

4. Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list it for admission on 07.11.2025.
