Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.5,12,400/- towards Gratuity and Rs.38,976/- towards Leave Salary and also arrears of wages for the period from 01.09.13 to 31.12.14 payable pursuant new wage settlement, together with 18% interest per annum and further directing the respondents to pay him the arrears of pension for the period from 01.01.15 by revising his pension, together with 18% interest per annum within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

For non-compliance of the order of this Court, dated 22.01.2016, passed in W.P(MD)No.57 of 2016, this Contempt Petition is filed.

2.When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing toady, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the order of this Court, dated 22.01.2016, has been complied with. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that some of the amount was not yet paid.

3.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed. If any amount is due and payable, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
