:Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying this Court to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnors/Respondents and punish them for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P (MD)No.5819 of 2016, dated 24.3.2016.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of 1/3

mandamus directing the Respondents to grant the petitioner 4th review benefits and to revise his pay in the Post of Checking Inspector with retrospective effect from 19.01.2012 in terms of Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.61, Transport (C) Department dated 30.04.2015 and as per settlement dated 22.01.2011 and further directing the Respondents to pay him the difference amount in his salary and to pay difference in his retirement benefits including difference amount in monthly pension, gratuity, leave salary, commuted value of pension and all other attendant benefits payable to him from 01.02.2012 to till date together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum.

************* Alleging that the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.5819 of 2016, dated 24.03.2016 has not been complied with, the Petitioner has come up with the present Contempt Petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the Respondents would submit that the order passed in the above Writ Petition has been complied with. However, the learned counsel for the Petitioner disputes the same. 4.As already liberty is given to the Petitioner in paragraph 6 of the order passed in the above Writ Petition, it is open to him to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 5.With the above observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
