Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus forbearing the 2nd respondent in disturbing the petitioners for getting State benefits and all Revenue documents from the 1st respondent and consequently to direct the 3rd respondent to provide electricity connection in the name of the petitioners in Survey Nos. (i) 203/2, (ii) 375/1, 376/1, (iii) 239, 227 (iv) 209/2, 227/2 respectively for doing cultivation without any scarcity of water in leasehold lands situated in Ayalur Village, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur District.

ORDER
The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court, dated 05.06.2018 in W.P(MD) 1/3
No.20472 of 2017.
2. This Court by its order, dated 05.06.2018 in W.P(MD) No.20472 of 2017, granted liberty to the petitioners to make a fresh application to the third respondent seeking electricity service connection and on such application, the third respondent shall provide electricity service connection, within a period of four weeks.
3. The present contempt application has been filed alleging that the respondent Electricity Board violated the order of this Court and they have not provided electricity service connection so far.
4. The respondent Electricity Board had filed a counter. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the contemnor that except third petitioner, all of them have registered for service connection. But no service connection was given and free service connection has to be given on the basis of the seniority in the registration. When the petitioners have reached the seniority, they will provide be with free service connection. Till such time, they will be provided only under tariff III A1 service connection. It will not be provided to the third petitioner, as there is no bore well and he has not paid the registration fee.
5. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the third petitioner made his application along with the required fee.
6. As soon as seniority reaches, service connection will be provided, in compliance of the orders of this Court. Hence this Contempt Petition is closed.
