[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This writ petition was filed to direct the respondents herein to protect the welfare of the parents and senior citizens by effectively enforcing the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2015 and 21.03.2016.
2.The third respondent has filed a status report on 02.02.2020 stating that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and necessary actions are taken as a measure of health care system to the senior citizens. 3.Recording the status report filed by the third respondent, this writ petition is closed. It is open to the parties concerned to seek their remedy before the authorities concerned, if they are so advised. No costs.
