:Contemnor/Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying this Court to punish the Contemnor/Respondent for wilfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.3201 of 2016, dated 15.02.2016.

Prayer in WP(MD). 3201/ 2016 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.7,36,477/- towards Gratuity and Rs.2,46,997/- towards Leave Salary together with 18% interest per annum within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

O R D E R

Alleging that the order of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.3201 of 2016, dated 15.02.2016 has not been complied with, the Petitioner has come up with the present Contempt Petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the Respondent/Contemnor would submit that the order passed in the above Writ Petition has been complied with and has also produced a communication to that effect. However, the learned counsel for the Petitioner disputes the Calculation memo submitted by the learned counsel for the Contemnor.

work out the remedy in the manner known to law. 5.With the above observation, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
