Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents Nos.1 to 3 not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint and to direct the respondents Nos. 1 to 3 to follow the guideline issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K. Basu (1997 1 SCC 416) case in matters pertaining to arrest or interrogation.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any legally sustainable complaint and also sought for a direction to the respondentss to follow the guideline issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K. Basu (1997 1 SCC 416) case.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police frequently called the petitioner, harassed him under the guise of enquiry.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that no petition and no CSR is pending against the petitioner; the presence of the petitioner is not required for any enquiry; and the respondent Police did not cause any harassment to the petitioner.
