PRAYER IN WP(MD)NO.14305 OF 2016:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pay the petitioner Rs.5,18,487/- towards Gratuity, Rs.2,67,179/- towards E.P.F Employee's Contribution and Rs.2,25,929/- towards Leave Salary and also arrears of wages for the period from 01.09.2013 to 30.06.2014 payable pursuant new wage settlement, together with 18% interest per annum and further directing the respondents to pay him arrears of pension for the period from 01.07.2014 by revision 1/3

his pension, together with 18% interest p.a. after calculating all his terminal/pension benefits based on the monthly wages payable to him on the month of his retirement i.e., June, 2014 by revising the same as per the settlement dated 13.04.2015, as ordered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in its order dated 29.01.2016 in W.A(MD)No.1457/15 and etc., batch.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court in W.P(MD).No.14305 of 2016, dated 08.08.2016, directed the respondents to settle the entire terminal benefits of the petitioner. But so far, the respondents have not settled the said benefits to the petitioner. Hence, the present Contempt Petition.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as per order of this Court, dated 08.08.2016, passed in W.P(MD).No.14305 of 2016, a sum of Rs.7,82,213/- has been paid to the petitioner.

3.Recording the abovesaid submission, this Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation, if he is aggrieved.
