Mr.S.I.Muthiah, learned counsel for writ petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 are before me.

2. Learned counsel for writ petitioner submits that captioned main writ petition has since become infructuous as the third respondent has since demitted office. Learned counsel has made an endorsement in the case file, which reads as follows: 'I respectfully submit that the prayer as sought for in the instant writ petition has become infructuous. Hence this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to close the above writ petition.
