PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, call for the records relating to the impugned Memo No.423431/A1/2017, dated 28.07.2017, quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent herein to release the vehicle bearing Registration No.KL-15-6019 operated on the route Vellarada-Kaliyikavila (via) Parassala in the interest of public.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner challenges the memo dated 28.07.2017 issued by the respondent levying a sum of Rs.4,500/-.

3.It appears that the vehicle that belongs to the petitioner's corporation was also seized by the respondent. Seeking its release, this Writ Petition has been filed.

4.When the matter was taken up for final disposal, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner has since paid a sum of Rs.4,500/- on 16.12.2017 and the vehicle as well as other relevant records were also duly handed over to the petitioner. 5.Since the vehicle has already been released, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and the same is closed accordingly.
