Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to accept the proposal of exchange of land for enabling the access (ingress and egress) to the petitioner's land comprised in S.Nos.135/1, 135/2, 138/5, 138/7 and 138/8 as pathway to reach the public approach road by providing as part of Government Anadheenam land to an extent of 7mt width 8 cents comprised in S.Nos.138/6 and 138/9 situated at Kurukkalpatti Village, Tenkasi District, vide an exchanging/alternate the petitioner's land to an extent of 8 cents comprised in S.No.138/7, whcih is abetting to the Government Anadheenam land by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a time to be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

Even though the prayer sought for in this writ petition is to accept the proposal of exchange offered by the petitioner in her representation dated 16.10.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be

satisfied, if the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2024.

2. Considering the limited prayer that is now sought for and also taking into account the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2024 is pending consideration of the first respondent, the first respondent shall consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2024 in accordance with law and on merits, after affording opportunity to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
