: Respondents/Contemnors PRAYER : Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish Contemnors/Respondents for contempt for willfully disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.17096 of 2017 dated 11.09.2017.

Prayer in WP(MD). 17096/ 2017 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to settle the Petitioners retirement benefit of Provident Fund, Gratuity, Leave Salary and all other attendant benefits with interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of retirement i.e. 28.02.2017 by considering this Representations dated 11.03.2017 and 12.08.2017 within the time that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the Order dated 11.09.2017, made in W.P.(MD) No.17096 of 2017, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the order, dated 11.09.2017, passed in W.P.(MD) No.17096 of 2017, has been complied with.

3. In view of the above said statement made by the learned counsel appearing for both parties, this Contempt Petition is closed.
