ORDER
The petitioner had challenged the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 31.08.2017 issued under the Revenue Recovery Act, wherein it is stated that a sum of Rs.11,63,250/- had not been paid by one Nagaraj. 2.It is the case of the petitioner, who is the son of the said Nagaraj that the said proceedings had been initiated after the demise of his father and hence, the impugned notice would have to be held to be non est in law and therefore, cannot be proceeded with.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions from the Revneue Tahsildar / 2nd respondent, would submit that entire arrears have been recovered from the legal heirs of the said Nagaraj and therefore, the property was removed from the list.
4.Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.11.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No 2/4
