Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner alleged that there are encroachments in survey Nos.413/1P and 414/1P.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader confirmed that both survey numbers have been classified as river. 2/3

5. We direct the third respondent to remove the encroachment in the two survey numbers after issuance of notice to the encroachers. The Inspector of Police, Vadamadurai police station is directed to extend police aid for removing the encroachment. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
