ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Accused No.4, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 16.10.2024 for the alleged offence under Sections 6, 7 and 24(1) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Acts 2003 r/w. Section 77 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, in Crime No.400 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. In the instant case, it is brought to the notice of this Court that there are 5 accused persons in this case and a total of 132Kgs of tobacco products were seized. The petitioner has been arrayed as A4.

3. Considering the fact that the accused person was arrested only on 16.10.2024 and the investigation is at its nascent stage, this Court expressed its mind that it is not inclined to consider the bail petition at this stage.

4. In view of the above, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
