ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition for a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 30.09.2024, by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that without his knowledge, the patta for his ancestral properties, after the death of his father, was changed in the names of his brothers, namely, Ramachandran and Natarajan vide proceedings of the second respondent, dated 01.10.2021, bearing No. 2021/0103/34/279335TR;

dated 02.10.2021, bearing No.

2021/0103/34/279338TR; and dated 13.10.2021, bearing No. 2021/0103/34/280693TR, without including the name of the other legal heirs. The petitioner, therefore, submitted a representation, dated 30.09.2024, to the first respondent to include his name as well as the names of the other legal heirs of his deceased father in the patta issued to his brothers, namely, Ramachandran and Natarajan. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the petitioner filed the above Writ Petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. As the prayer in the Writ Petition is limited to consideration of the petitioner's representation, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 30.09.2024, by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass orders on merit and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 20.11.2024 NCC :
