ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to file final report in pending FIR in Crime No.153 of 2019 dated 09.05.2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent police within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police registered FIR in Crime No.153 of 2019 and Final Report was presented before the concerned trial Court on 28.06.2019.

4. But the report submitted by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, shows that no such Final Report has been filed so far. The second respondent Police is directed to approach the 2/4

concerned trial Court and verify the status of the above said Final Report. If so far the Final Report is not presented before the concerned trial Court, the second respondent Police is directed to present the Final Report before the concerned trial Court within a week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
