This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents herein to close the History Sheet in No.178/2011 maintained by the third respondent, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2017 .

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents Police submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and he has committed offence and even till today the name of the petitioner has maintained in the History Sheet No.178 of 2011 on the file of the third respondent. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner is of the year 2017 and it is not available with the respondents. Therefore, the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2017 cannot be considered.

W.P.(MD)No.17453 of 2017 3.With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh representation to the concerned authority and on receiving the same the second respondent is directed to pass orders on merits in accordance with law. No costs.
