ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 172 of 2020, pending on the file of the second respondent to the file of the third respondent. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the FIR in Crime No.172 of 2020 was registered on 11.07.2020 for the offences under Sections 420, 294(b), 447, 506(1) and 379 IPC. He would further submit that the accused have filed a quash petition in Crl.O.P(MD)No.14429 of 2020 and this Court, after enquiry, vide order, dated 22.03.2022, dismissed the same and directed the respondent police therein to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Magistrate, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. However, the second respondent has not filed final report till now.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent may be directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.172 of 2020, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the first respondent herein, is directed to monitor the investigation.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
