The present writ petition has been filed challenging the order, dated 17.08.2017 passed by the 5th respondent, quash the same and to direct the 5th respondent to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner by considering the application, dated 27.06.2017.
2. The petitioner sought informations regarding the correlation statement for old Paimash Nos.129, 139, 165, 194, 133 and 12 of Inam Kalpalayam Village. As the respondents communicated vide impugned order, dated 17.08.2017 that they were not possessed of the correlation, the petitioner filed the above writ petition. During the pendency of the above writ petition, this Court vide order, dated 25.09.2024 passed the following order: "2. Therefore, the Revenue Authorities shall physically inspect the properties of the petitioner, co-related with the boundaries and 2/5
thereafter, identify the survey number in which the lands are now situtated and produce the report on 28.10.2024.
3. The petitioner shall assist the Revenue Authorities in identifying the properties. The Revenue Authorities shall issue notice to the petitioner stating the date on which the inspection is going to be conducted."
3. In compliance to the order of this Court, the Inspector of Survey, Trichirappalli & Srirangam Division produced the report, dated 26.10.2024 before this Court on 28.10.2024. In view of the report filed by the Inspector of Survey, Trichirappalli & Srirangam Division, dated 26.10.2024, nothing survives for adjudication in this case.
4. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities for patta on the basis of the above said report, if he is so advised. No costs. 11.11.2024 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no gbg 3/5
