ORDER

The petitioner has sent a representation dated 09.11.2024 seeking for immediate action against the offenders who had given continuous threat to the petitioner, expedite investigation, file charge sheet and to provide police protection to the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner a case has been registered on 07.11.2024 and now the accused in this case has filed an application for anticipatory bail before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) NO.20183 of 2024 and it is posted today. The learned counsel for the petitioner can very well intervene in the said application and make objection with regard to grant of anticipatory bail.

3. It is seen that the case has been registered on 07.11.2024 and the respondent police are taking immediate steps,fearing for arrest the accused persons have filed anticipatory bail petition before this Court. The apprehension of the petitioner has been addressed. The respondent police have also assured that as and when there is any life threat to the petitioner immediate action would be taken. Further in this case the case has been registered only 07.11.2024 .

4. In view of the same there shall be a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
