Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Resolution No.14 dated 25.06.2025 passed by the respondent No.4, and to quash the same illegal, and consequently for a direction, directing the respondents to re-employ the petitioner in the post of Associate Professor in the History Department at the respondent No.4 College, for the period from 01.07.2025 to 31.05.2026 under the Re-employment Scheme, in accordance with the Government Order in G.O. (Ms) No.192 Higher Education (F1) Department dated 12.11.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned resolution No.14 dated 25.06.2025 passed by the fourth respondent, and consequently for a direction to the respondents to re-employ the petitioner in the post of Associate Professor in the History Department at 2/5

the fourth respondent College, for the period from 01.07.2025 to 31.05.2026 under the Re-employment Scheme, in accordance with the Government Order in G.O. (Ms) No.192 Higher Education (F1) Department dated 12.11.2024, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Considering the fact that the fourth respondent had passed an order of rejection without assigning any reasons as to whether anything adverse to the petitioner has been reported or that there is no exemplary contribution regarding the Education Student Committee to reject the request for re-employment till the end of the academic year, the order impugned herein is set aside and the matter is remitted back to the fourth respondent to consider the case of the petitioner in line with the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.192 Higher Education (F1) Department, dated 12.11.2024. If the petitioner is found eligible to be reemployed in accordance with the said G.O., the fourth respondent shall forward a proposal to the first responden within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If a positive response is made from the first respondent, the fourth respondent shall pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. 3/5

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
