Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to re-fix the seniority of the Station Fire Officer appointed in the year of 2001 based upon the order dated 18.04.2023 made in Contempt Petition (CIVIL) Diary No(S).6415/2021 in SLP(C) No.2886/2016 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and consequently consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2023.

ORDER

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Assistant District Fire Officer seeking a Mandamus to refix his seniority based upon the order dated 18.04.2023 made in Contempt Petition (Civil) Diary No(S). 6415/2021 in SLP(c) No.2886/2016 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and consequently consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 10.08.2023.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that pursuant to the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, a revision of seniority has been effected on 20.10.2017, which has not been put to challenge by the Writ Petitioner. In case if the Writ Petitioner is aggrieved over the revision of seniority dated 20.10.2017 and if he feels that the said revision is not inconsonance wits the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, it is open to him to challenge the said revision of seniority list dated 20.10.2024.

3. With the said liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
