ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed forbearing the respondent from disconnecting the water supply connection issued to the members of the petitioner's Society by the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board. 2.By consent of both parties, considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. Perused the materials on record.

4.The anticipation of the petitioner's Association is that the respondents may disconnect the water supply connection, which is available to the members of the petitioner's Association by the TWAD Board. 5.The learned counsel for the petitioner vehemently submitted that on 08.11.2024, the respondent Authorities visited the spot and informed that 2/4

the water supply will be disconnected very soon and they have to get water connection from the respondent Corporation.

6.When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that there is no intention on the part of the respondents to disconnect the water supply, which is already provided to the members of the petitioner's Association by TWAD Board. 7.Recording the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed not to take any action, without putting the petitioner's Association on notice. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.11.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes PNM To The Commissioner, Thoothukudi Corporation, Thoothukudi.
