ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to issue Non-Traceable Certificate to the petitioner in respect of missing documents vide Document No.147 of 2013 on the file of the Chinnalapatti Sub Registrar, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's online application dated 02.05.2024 in Reference No.CAY24189887 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has lodged a online complaint before the respondent for missing of her Document No.147/2013 on the file of the Chinnalappatti Sub Registrar, Dindigul District in S. No.326/2A, Garden City, A Block, Plot No.249 to an extent of 1200 sq.ft situated at Jambuduarikottai Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District. He would further submit on 23.04.2024 at about 10.00 to 11.00 am., when the petitioner went to take xerox copy of the document it was found missing 2/5

opposite to Melur Bus stand but it could not be traced. Hence she has preferred the complaint.

4. In pursuance of the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3307 of 2022, the Director General of Police has issued a circular memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1 (1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 stipulating the procedure to be adopted with regard to issuance of non-traceable certificate.

5. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the writ petitioner, after ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
