: Respondents in both Writ Petitions PRAYER in W.P.[MD]No.17708 of 2017: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the Sections 3, 4, 6 and 7 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 is ultra vires, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violates Article 14 of Constitution of India.

PRAYER in W.P.[MD]No.17709 of 2017: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the Tamil Nadu Act 1 of 2015 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, is unconstitutional, ultra vires, and violates Article 14 of the Constitution of India. Learned Special Government Pleader for the State also informs that the very scheme which was under challenge has been withdrawn by the State Government vide notification dated 23.09.2019. A copy of the notification has been placed before us. 3.The Writ Petitions are accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
