ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to second respondent to issue a Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner in respect of missing documents vide Document No. 148 and 150 of 2013 on the file of Chinalampatti Sub Registrar, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's online application dated 02.05.2024 in Reference No. CAR24189906 within time frame as fixed by this Court

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that the writ petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent for missing of his document which was situated in S. No.326/2A, Garden City, A- Block, Plot No.248 to an extent of 1200 sq.ft in Jambuduraikottai Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Chinnalapatti Sub Registrar , Dindigul registered sale deed vide document No.150 of 2013 and 2/5

another property in S. No.326/2A, A- Block, Plot No.231 to an total extent of 1200 sq.ft Jambuduraikottai Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Chinnalapatti Sub Registrar, Dindigul registered sale deed vide document No.148 of 2013. He would further submit on 23.04.2024 at about 10.00 to 11.00 am., when the petitioner went to take xerox copy of the document it was found missing opposite to Melur Bus stand but it could not be traced. Hence he has preferred the complaint.

4. In pursuance of the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.3307 of 2022, the Director General of Police has issued a circular memorandum in Rc.No.2029209/General.1 (1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 stipulating the procedure to be adopted with regard to issuance of non-traceable certificate.

Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and issue Non-traceable Certificate to the writ petitioner, after ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
