PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No. 17/2015 dated 19.01.2017, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct 1st and 2nd respondents to remove the unauthorized constructions made by the third to seventh respondents in the Singampunari Weekly Market.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents 1 and 2 are required to take steps as against the unauthorized construction made by respondents 3 to 7. 3.The learned Government Pleader submits that the unauthorized shops existed in the subject place and the Panchayat has taken over the said shops and leased out the same, to which the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that instead of removing the encroachment, the respondent has regularised the same. It is for the petitioner to take appropriate steps in that regard. 4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
