Heard the learned counsel on either side.

The Tahsildar, Kadavur Taluk is directed to consider the petition mentioned application on merits and in accordance with law and pass final order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the Tahsildar, Kadavur Taluk to pass order one way or the other. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
