PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2017 and thereby removing the encroachment on the Kappathan Graveyard situated in Annavasal, Pudukkottai, by the respondents 4 to 8.

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.08.2017 and remove the encroachment made by the respondents 4 to 8 in Kappathan Graveyard, Annavasal, Pudukkottai.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that there is no encroachment made by the private

respondents in the subject land, as projected by the petitioner and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.A1/5085/2022, dated 20.09.2022, issued by the third respondent, before this Court.
