ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Conductor of the respondent Transport Corporation.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner had retired from service on 30.11.2022. However, the respondent Corporation has so far not released the surrender leave salary. The petitioner had made a representation on 05.06.2023 to the said effect. However, there is no response from the respondent Corporation.

3. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent herein is directed to settle the eligible surrender leave salary with 6% interest from the date of his retirement till the date of realisation. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
