PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.355 of 2022, dated 12.09.2022 and to file the Final Report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.355 of 2022, dated 12.09.2022 and to file the Final Report within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police registered FIR in Crime No.355 of 2022 and that the investigation is almost completed and Charge Sheet is made ready, but not presented before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. Hence, he seeks one month time to file the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent Police is directed to file a final report in Crime No.355 2/4

of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
