ORDER
The 1st petitioner is a widow. The husband of the 1st petitioner had taken insurance policies from the Postal Department on 17.03.2014, 19.03.2014 and 24.03.2014. Unfortunately, the petitioner's husband died on 23.06.2014 due to heart attack. The petitioner claimed for the insurance amount, but the said claim was repudiated that the insurance policies were taken by means of fraud. Aggrieved over that, the present writ petition was filed in the year 2017. 2.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioners.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the husband of the 1st writ petitioner had taken the above three policies with the sum assured of Rs.5 lakhs each. Further, he was suffered from HIV and he was on the death bed. Suppressing all these facts, three policies have been taken at three different places and dates in the name of the 1st petitioner's husband, namely Velmurugan, that too just three days before his death. Considering the manner, in which the policies were taken, the claim was repudiated.
4.Recording the above submission this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
