Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 3rd respondent in G.O.No.1327 dated 23.06.2017 and quash the same as illegal and ultra vires and in consequence direct the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate Government Order with check measure and arrest the use of Dual Nativity Certificate by the candidates seeking admission in the medical colleges in the State of Tamilnadu.

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.S.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.K.R.Laxman, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent and Ms.M.Snekha, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 and 5.

2. The Government Order, dated 23.06.2017 is a subject matter of challenge in the Writ Petition. The said Government Order was applicable for the academic year 2017-2018. Subsequently, some amendments are also carried out.

3. If according to the petitioner, under the fresh rules, the same position continues, it is open to the petitioner or such other person to agitate afresh.
