O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the order passed by the first respondent vide his proceeding made in Memo.No.993/313/Adm.A/A.2/F.DVAC Suspension/2025 dated 19.02.2025 as illegal and consequently to direct the first respondent to reinstate the petitioner within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that a charge memo had been issued, an Enquiry Officer had been appointed and the petitioner had also appeared before the Enquiry Officer. He further submits that subsistence allowance had also been paid to the petitioner in accordance with the Rules.

3. In such view of the matter, without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondents 2/4

to bring the disciplinary proceedings to its logical conclusion within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner shall also co-operate with the disciplinary proceedings.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
