ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner without following the due process of law based on his representation dated 6.12.2022.

When the matter was taken up for hearing earlier, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is having 9 previous cases and out of 9 previous cases, 5 cases were already disposed of, three cases under the IPC offence and one case in Crime No.87 of 2021 for the offences under Sections 4(1-A) and 4(1)(b) of TNP Act are pending against him. But in the proceedings of the third respondent/Inspector of Police, Vijayanarayanam Police Station, Nanguneri and also the second respondent/Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nanguneri Sub Division, under Section 110 of Cr.P.C., they have referred that the petitioner was involved in sale of Ganja. After coming to know about the said proceedings, the respondents 2 and 3 were directed to be present before this Court.

3. In pursuance of the same, both of them are present before this Court and would submit that they have received some information about the involvement of the petitioner in sale of Ganja, but the same was not recovered. They would further submit that they have decided not to take any action against the petitioner.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
