Mr.S.Ravi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.483 of B.N.S.S. U/s 439 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioner on bail in Spl.S.C.No. 145 of 2024, pending on the file of the Hon`ble Special Court for POCSO Act, Srivilliputhur. 1/3

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A4, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.05.2024 for the offences under Sections 5(1) (k) r/w 6 of POCSO Act and Section 363 IPC in Spl.S.C.No. 145 of 2024 in Crime No.14 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The earlier bail petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed on merits. This Court also had the advantage of going through the statement recorded from the victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C. This Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

3.Considering the fact that the accused persons are in judicial custody for long time and the case is now at the stage of examination of witnesses, there shall be a direction to the Fast Track Court, Srivilliputhur to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.145 of 2024, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In the result, this criminal original petition is dismissed with the above direction.
