PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 to revise the seniority list relating to the Lecturers by placing the petitioner below S.No.18 of the seniority list above the respondent No.3 within the time period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that her juniors have been placed ahead her in the seniority list prepared of Lecturers for the Polytechnic Colleges has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to revising the seniority list for the Lecturers. 2.When this writ petition has been taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader by referring the proceedings of the Director of Technical Education in his letter No.23947/B1/2011, dated 07.03.2018 submits that the petitioner's claim was already rejected by referring the orders of this Court passed in WP(MD)No.17657 of 2007, dated 28.02.2012.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that this order dated 07.03.2018 has now only been served to them. However the learned Special Government Pleader by referring to the endorsement made by the petitioner submits that this proceedings 07.03.2018 was served to the petitioner on 16.03.2018 itself. 2/4

4.Be that as it may, this writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus and the government has already rejected the request of the petitioner. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
