PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2016, 15.06.2016, 29.08.2016 and 31.05.2017 and direct the 1 to 3 respondents to conduct enquiry against the 4th and 5th respondents for acting in a biased and prejudicial manner and direct them to sanction agricultural loan to the petitioners for the year end 31.03.2016 as granted to the petitioners if the previous years. Seeking agricultural loan in the year 2016, the petitioners have submitted representations and filed this writ petition to direct the respondents to consider their representations. 2/5

2.Today (26.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioners are residing at Karur and they have not offered any proper surety for grant of agricultural loan and therefore, they have not considered the petitioners' applications. In the event, if the petitioners produce sufficient surety, loan would be sanctioned. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to approach the respondents along with the required surety and on their application, the respondent shall consider the same at the earliest. No costs.
