ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2022.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

It is evident from the records that the petitioner has earlier filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.7841 of 2022 seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct the proper survey of the petitioner's property to an extent of 0.02.23.0 Ares in S.No. 596/9 in Patta No.554 in Keelaiyur revenue Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District by following the procedure and fix the G-Line and 'F' Line and further, fix the four boundaries and lay the measurement stones in S.No.596/9 in Keelaiyur revenue Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District based on his representation dated 16.03.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and this Court vide order dated 2/6

25.04.2022 directed the third respondent/Tahsildar therein to survey and fix the boundaries in the petitioner's property to an extent of 0.02.23.0 Ares in S.No.596/9 in Patta No.554 in Keelaiyur revenue Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, after giving notice to the petitioner and any other necessary party, whom the third respondent therein deems fit to put on notice at the time of survey, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner had taken attempts to survey the property as directed by this Court, the petitioner's neighbour land owners had stopped the attempt and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent and on that basis, CSR.No.295 of 2022 came to be registered, but no action has been taken so far.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the Tahsildar/third respondent in W.P.(MD)No.7841 of 2022 is directed to get the police help, while complying with the directions of this Court dated 25.04.2022, if necessary.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
