The petitioner has challenged the impugned newspaper publication dated 12.08.2017 published in Dinamalar issued by the first respondent for filling up the post of Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Assistants under the Child Development Programme.

2. It is now brought to the notice by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that subsequent to the issuance of the impugned newspaper publication dated 12.08.2017, the persons have been recruited and the selection process had come to an end in the year 2017 itself. She would submit that the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has now become infructuous.

3. This Court is also satisfied with the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
