JUDGMENT

(Order of the Court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN,J.) This Intra Court appeal is directed against the order passed by the writ Court, dated 30.07.2019 in W.P(MD)No.6610 of 2019.

2. The writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to approve the posts of the 10 non-teaching staffs viz., Sweeper-2, Waterman-2, Watchman-2, Scavenger-2 and Gardener-2 in the sanctioned vacancies in the petitioner's college. This Court, by order dated 30.07.2019 disposed the writ petition by directing the respondents to approve the appointments made by the petitioner's College in respect of the posts of Sweeper, Waterman, Watchman and Gardener within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/5

order by incorporating a condition that it is subject to outcome of W.A(MD)Nos. 461 & 462 of 2016. The appointment to the post of scavenger is directed to be approved. Challenging the same, the respondents have filed the present writ appeal. By an order dated 30.07.2019 this Court has taken the view that the primary ground of objection raised by the official respondents is on the ground that the petitioner did not obtain prior approval from the department before making an appointment in question. Pending writ appeal, the Director of Collegiate Education has passed an order thereby, the posts were sanctioned post.

3. In view of the subsequent development, we do not find any survives in this writ appeal. Accordingly, this writ appeal is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [T.K.R.,J.] [K.G.T.,J.] 07.11.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No am 3/5
