PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent chief Educational Officer to approve forthwith the appointment of S.Manuvel as P.G. Assistant (English) in the petitioner school and disburse the grant-in-aid towards his salary and allowances with effect from the date of appointment i.e., 03.10.2023.

The instant writ petition has been filed by the Management of an Aided Minority Institution seeking a mandamus as against the third respondent to approve the appointment of one S.Manuvel as P.G Assistant (English) in the petitioner's school with effect from 03.10.2023.

2. It could be seen from the typed set of papers that one S.Manuvel appointed as P.G. Assistant (English) on 03.10.2023, and he joined duty on the same day. The proposal was submitted by the Management to the third respondent on 12.02.2024, and according to the Management the proposal is still pending with the third respondent.

3. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to consider the proposal pending with him and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 15.11.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gvn 3/4
