O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the wife of a deceased employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus to consider her representation for compassionate appointment based upon her representation dated 16.09.2024.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner's husband was working as a Conductor in the respondent Transport Corporation and he passed away while in service on 07.12.2023. The petitioner, who is well educated had given a representation on 16.09.2024 seeking compassionate appointment. Since the said request has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondents are directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
