Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records relating to the impugned order issued by the third respondent in Ref Na.Ka.No.1611/2019/Tho.Ve.Sa(3) dated 6.9.2019, rejecting the representation dated 03.04.2019, submitted by her, for providing compassionate employment in the place of her father, Late.Veeraperumal, quash the same, consequently directing the third respondent, to provide the employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, in the place of her father namely Late.Veeraperumal.

ORDER

I do not find any infirmity in the impugned order passed by the third respondent herein, since the petitioner's father was dismissed from service on 23.05.2001 and thereafter, he died in the year 2013. The application seeking for compassionate appointment was made on 03.04.2019. When the petitioner's father was not a Government employee at the time of his death, the petitioner may not be entitled to seek for appointment on compassionate ground. 2.On this short ground, the prayer sought for in the present writ petition cannot be entertained. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed.
