PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to resurvey the petitioner's property in Survey No. 595/6 situated at Natham, Vilathikulam, Tuticorin District as per the communication dated 27.10.2016 in O.Mu.A1/5040/16, passed by the first respondent and based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2017.

The petitioner being not satisfied with the survey conducted by the respondents has filed this writ petition in the year 2017 to direct the respondents to conduct resurvey of his property in Survey No.595/6, Natham, Vilathikulam, Tuticorin District. 2.Today(29.01.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that they are intending to conduct resurvey within a period of three weeks.

3.Recording the submission made on behalf of the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Survey officer to conduct resurvey in the petitioner's property within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
