ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner / Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.09.2024 for the offence under Sections 302, 201, 364, 394 r/w 397 of IPC in SC No. 148/2015 on the file of the Learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sivagangai, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned 1/3

Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. The non bailable warrant was issued against the petitioner on 19.09.2011 and it was able to be executed only on 23.09.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner was produced before the Court and he was remanded to judicial custody. The earlier petition filed in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.18256 of 2024 was dismissed as withdrawn by an order dated 23.10.2024.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner was absconding for a very long time and the petitioner is residing at Maharastra, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, there shall be a direction to the Principal Sessions Court, Sivagangai to dispose of the case in S.C.No.148 of 2015 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the learned Principal Sessions Judge shall file a compliance report before this Court.
